A global pandemic is a situation none of us ever thought that we would face in our lifetimes. However it is the reality that we now face.
Our original plans for speaker events and workshops have unfortunately been postponed in response to government guidelines regarding social distancing and a three week lock down. As we at Accessible Artistry continue to work from home we are working tirelessly to continue to come up with new ideas to promote accessibility within creative industries.
It has allowed us to be creative and think outside of the box. Creating a blog to share our progress for you as our organisation develops.
Continuing to grow our social media channels, our magazine changing from print publishing to online (a method which is honestly much more accessible) and many more exciting projects underway. We're currently looking to work with artists as apart of an upcoming multimedia project. If you are a disabled artist and would like to get involved then please use our contact form! If you know of someone who might be interested then please share this on!
As well as this we are also currently looking to feature the work of disabled artists on both our blog and within our magazine. If you know of someone or you yourself would like to see your work featured then please use our contact page to get in touch and let us know! We understand that these are times of uncertainty and want to provide a sense of normalcy and positivity through sharing the work of others within the disabled community.
